Due to continued growth and increasing demand across our mining operations, NLT Digital Solutions is seeking a motivated Site Service Technician to support across North Queensland mine sites.
Operating on flexible DIDO rosters, you will provide services across multiple customer sites throughout the following regions:
North Queensland (QLD): We are specifically looking for candidates in Nebo, Emerald, Mackay, and the Coalfields, as these locations are central to our customer sites.
This pivotal role focuses on manufacturing, repairing, testing, and certifying NLT products, upholding our commitment to safety and efficiency in underground communication. As a Service Technician, you'll be directly contributing to the integrity and reliability of our innovative communication and safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair electrical and communication devices
- Work closely with the product development team to drive continuous improvement
- Assemble and test LV and explosion-protected skids for underground use
- Provide expert product support and electronic repairs
What You'll Bring to the Team
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 1-2 years' on-site experience working with electrical, communications, or telecommunications equipment.
To qualify, you will need:
- Cert III or IV in Telecommunications (or equivalent)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Restricted Electrical Workers Licence (or ability to obtain)
Additionally, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
- Experience working within Underground Mining Environments
- Experience with Communications Networks and Infrastructure
- Qualifications/ Background in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Communications, or Telecommunications trades
- AS3800 Certification
